Positive Mind Looping
SO, LET’S START WITH A QUESTION
When was the last time you noticed yourself ruminating?
And by ruminating, I mean where you’re experiencing a cycle of negative feelings, thoughts or images, that are often triggered by a memory, an event, or a person.
Was it…
A few minutes ago, before you landed on this page?
During the night when you woke-up and struggled to get back to sleep?
Or perhaps a few days ago, when someone or something triggered you?
Well, you can take solace that you’re not alone.
Millions of people throughout the world are also suffering with rumination.
It’s common humanity.
And it’s often a challenging place to find yourself, right?
Positive Mind Looping is a simple practice created to free yourself from rumination, enabling you to shift from negative thinking and feeling, to positive being.
LET’S THINK ABOUT THE PROBLEM
Rumination centres around a variety of negative emotions or feelings such as:
anxiety, stress, obsessive thinking, insomnia, shame, guilt,
overthinking, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, self-criticism
impatience, agitation, worry, anger, fear, sadness, depression
HOW DO I FREE MYSELF?
By using the 4-step approach in the Positive Mind Looping practice:
ONE – you’ll notice when you’re ruminating
TWO – you’ll disrupt those intrusive thoughts and feelings using The FOE Method©
THREE – you’ll engage using a variety of mindful mantras from the book
FOUR – you’ll then let go and shift into a place of positive being.
And it’s a cyclical process.
I believe, because we are conscious beings, that we’ll always ruminate.
So, what we can do is to find a way to allow it, make sense of it, then let it go.
THE 5-DAY POSITIVE MIND LOOPING CHALLENGE
This is an invitation to be curious.
To try Positive Mind Looping for yourself.
And experience something different.
1. At the start of Day 1, score your level of rumination between 1 and 100
(where 100 is an extremely high level of rumination).
2. Consciously use The FOE Method© and a few mindful mantras for 5 days (you’ll learn how to do this by listening to, or reading, the book, or by watching the videos on the website).
3. At the end of Day 5, score your level of rumination again.
4. And write down one sentence that sums up how you’re feeling in that moment.
What have you experienced? What have you witnessed? What have you learnt?
